How You Can Help
Need Energy Assistance?
Q & A
During these uncertain times, thousands of local families, possibly in your own town or neighborhood, are facing the question, "Heat or eat?". Participating energy companies are presently assisting those in need through various matching and giving programs. You can also help a Massachusetts family suffering from a serious illness or a loss of a job by making a contribution to the Good Neighbor Energy Fund.
Please "Give the Gift of Warmth" by using the mint green donation envelopes which are included with your monthly energy bills each winter. You can also take advantage of some companies' "add a dollar" programs or contribute by donating on-line via The Salvation Army web site! Just note on the donation form that you'd like to designate your gift to the Good Neighbor Energy Fund. Of course, you can simply send a check payable to "Good Neighbor Energy Fund" directly to The Salvation Army, 25 Shawmut Road, Canton, MA 02021-1408. Tel: 339-502-5900.
Your tax deductible donation goes straight to the Fund and The Salvation Army, the administrator of the Fund, sees that your contribution assists a Massachusetts family with the payment of a month's energy expense.
On behalf of families in need, thank you.
